Radiology services at Kibimba Hospital currently rely on an older analog X-ray machine, which limits imaging capacity. The hospital also has an obstetric ultrasound machine used primarily for maternal and pregnancy-related assessments.

Despite these limitations, imaging plays an essential role in diagnosis and patient care in our hospital.

Our Vision:
We aim to modernize the radiology department by introducing digital X-ray and expanded ultrasound services. Our goal is to provide basic diagnostic imaging including abdominal ultrasound, ECG, echocardiography, spectral Doppler for conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and lung ultrasound. We also hope to strengthen the use of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) by training clinicians so that bedside ultrasound can become an integral part of patient care.
